Antisemite sues blogger
Read it over at Devil’s Kitchen. The antisemite in question is a representant of Hamas UK and the sued blogger is Harry from Harry’s Place:
Mohammed Sawalha is President of the British Muslim Initiative and a senior fundraiser for Hamas activities in Britain who objected to a post on HP in which they noted his use of the phrase “Evil Jew” in a speech delivered to Al-Jazeera, before an eagle-eyed editor changed the phrase to “Jewish lobby”. HP backed this claim with screenshots and additional supporting evidence. The British Muslim Initiative are peeved that anyone would think they would use a phrase like “evil Jew” (perish the thought!) and, having not had the retraction and apology they were demanding, are now suing.
Thanks to Chaim for sending his link to me just when I was writing this post. In his post he announces a Blogburst in Support of Harry’s Place, a blogburst I am of course adding this blog to. As you have rightly discerned, the objective is POWER OVER, rather than POWER ON BEHALF OF others. Hense the battles persist. Freedom loving people need not be intimidated, but instead should be prepared to resist such attempts with skilled verbal shots across the bow of those who would subjugate others. Rational thought, in the end, will outlive radical philosophical perspectives berift of sound reasoning. It is time people allowed God to act for himself, rather than trying to put themself in place of God.

If only these radicals expended as much energy on advancing the cause of their brothers instead of hating Jews and suing those who disagree with them conditions would radically improve. Their constant venom is not only destructive toward the Jewish community, but self-destructive as well for the Arab community.

quite common in the US as well – see Rachel Ehrenfeld as a prime case…CAIR, ACLU and others have nearly perfected it in conjunction with liberal judges and lawyers who often represent the likes of al qaeda

Its all about who want to label someone. Its all about war between good and bad. Both use their justification, definition, etc.

Remo Harsono: it’ not about who said something, it’s who lied and about what. Instead of recognising that he is indeed an antisemite, he just demands the one who discovered him saying “Evil jews” or “Zionist lobby”. For me, it doesn’t mind which expression he uttered: both of them are intrinsically antisemite.
