Bad news from Mexico
Bad news indeed. Because Mexican democracy is under threat from Mexican drug cartels. And Mexican drug cartels are working with Islamic radicals:
“Information from intelligence and investigations on narcoterrorism that we have carried out identifies ties between Mexican narcotics traffickers, [and] those of the Philippines and Colombia, with elements belonging to foreign organizations designated as terrorists by the [U.S.] Department of State,” the NDIC document indicates. Based on information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the NDIC document emphasized: “The results of 74 investigations of narcoterrorism that have been carried out by the Special Operations Division of the DEA document that Islamic groups present on the common border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay launder money, sell arms and traffic drugs of the main Mexican criminal organizations. “
The document indicates that the majority of the Islamic groups represented in South America are tied to the Palestinians, and that they use their earnings gained from relationship with narcotics traffickers from Mexico and the rest of Latin America to finance their causes.
It identifies the groups Hezbollah, Hamas, the Palestine Liberation Front, the Palestine Liberation Organization, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine as the Arab associates of narcotrafficking cartels from Mexico.
No relationship with Chávez for example?

Moratinos wants Barcelona to held Secretary offices of Euro-Med
Some days ago, I posted about the Euro-Mediterranean Union’s economic consequences for Europe. Now, Spanish FM, Moratinos, wants Barcelona to be “the Euro-Mediterranean capital”:
Moratinos said that he had detected a “favorable climate” between his euromediterranean homologues to name Barcelona as the city in which the Euro-Med Secretary will have its offices. He is also convinced that a consensus can be created to make Barcelona’s candidacy the elected when the decision is taken in November.
During the meeting held previously to the ceremony of the Euro-Med’s creation, Moratinos presented officially Barcelona’s candidacy, which will have to compete with Malta, Morocco and Tunisia. Spanish PM, Zapatero, has also asked this afternoon to the leaders of both sides of the Mediterranean to elect Barcelona as the city to hold the Secretary’s offices.
Spanish people can just forget about that possibility…. and in case they got it… how much will Spain have to pay for it?
Moratinos explained that there were some problems, regarding the final statement of the meeting, about which no solution had been reached. Those “little difficulties” deal with, he continued, the statute of “Observer of the Arab League” and the iniciative of Arab peace. But Moratinos said he was convinced that, thanks to “the possitive spirit”, that exists within the meeting, an agreement will be reached about those subjects too.
Moratinos in Wonderland…

The submission of the Infidel: Al-Qaeda’s Plan B
Just in case submitting the infidel is not achieved by infiltration:
These parallel societies could resemble “liberated zones” set up by Marxist guerrillas in parts of Latin America in the last century. But they could also exist within cities, under the very noses of the authorities – operating as secret societies with their own rules, values and enforcement.
But they could also take shape in Western countries with large Muslim minorities: The jihadis are to begin by giving areas where Muslims live a distinctly Islamic appearance, by imposing special styles of dress for women and beards for men. Then they start imposing the shariah. In the final phase, they create a parallel system of taxation and law enforcement, effectively taking the areas out of government control.
The “wilderness” will provide the cover for bases for jihad operations. Jihad would be everywhere, rather than in just one or two countries that the “infidel” could hit with superior firepower.
IN a notable departure from past al Qaeda strategy, Naji recommends “countless small operations” that render daily life unbearable, rather than a few spectacular attacks such as 9/11: The “infidel,” leaving his home every morning, should be unsure whether he’ll return in the evening.
Naji recommends kidnappings, the holding of hostages, the use of women and children as human shields, exhibition killings to terrorize the enemy, suicide bombings and countless gestures that make normal life impossible for the “infidel” and Muslim collaborators.
(…) Naji asks jihadis to target oilfields, sea and airports, tourist facilities and especially banking and financial services. He envisages “a very long war,” at the end of which the whole world is brought under the banner of Islam.
He identifies several Muslim countries as promising for establishing “the governance of the wilderness”: Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Yemen, Turkey, Jordan, Libya, Tunisia and Morocco. The implication is that “wilderness” units already exist in nations such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Somalia and Algeria.
(…) Naji’s message is stark: Western civilization is doomed. Its last bastion, America, lacks the will for a long war. The “infidel” loves life and treats it as an endless feast. Jihadis have to ruin that feast and persuade the “infidel” to abandon this world in exchange for greater rewards in the next.

Petition against the UN resolutions about the “defamation of religions”
Pétition contre les résolutions de l’ONU sur la “defamation” des religions – Point de bascule
An online petition from the American Center for Law and Justice and its European division will be sent to the UNHCHR. The petition denounces the resolutions promoted by the Islamic Conference Organization (OIC) about the defamation of religions. These resolutions are against the International Law regarding religious freedom and freedom of expression and produce in fact a climate of violence against the religious minorities in the Muslim countries.
In those countries, the defamation of Islam is used to submit the Christian minorities in the Muslim countries. The Hindu minorities (for example in Malaysia) and Bhuddists (for example in Thailand) are also victims of persecutions.

World Youth Day begins at Sydney: Australia denies visas to Iraqi pilgrims
CNA:

.- The Australian government has denied visas to dozens of World Youth Day pilgrims from Iraq, citing concerns that participants will not return home and instead will seek asylum in Australia. One Chaldean Catholic priest called the decision “a slap at young people who wanted to go to witness to the faith and the joy of the church’s living in Iraq despite sufferings.”
Initially the Australian government denied visas for nearly 170 pilgrims, allowing only ten visas to aspiring World Youth Day participants, the SIR News Agency says. According to the website Baghdadhope, there are now only about 30 total visas available that will be granted “in extremis.”
Father Rayan P. Atto, parish priest of Mar Qardagh Church in Erbil, told SIR News Agency that the concerns about asylum seekers were unfounded, arguing that, “for young Christian Iraqis, taking part in the WYD in Sydney was not a way to leave their country.”
“Most of the group members come from northern Iraq, a quiet area,” he continued. “They have no reason to escape and they would certainly not do it on an occasion related to faith.”
If they would have been Jihado-terrorists, I’m sure they would have had no problem with the visas.

Pakistan: kidnapped, forcibly converted to Islam and married
And the marriage is valid because there is special fatwa on the case:
The Christian girls from Chak, a Muslim dominated village, came to Chowk Munda to see their reletives. Bajwa kidnapped the girls on gun point and told them to remain silent otherwise they would be killed. Then the girls were taken to an unidentified place. Later on the girls were sold to another Muslim man Falak Sher Gill (a criminal know for his notorious acts.)
On June 27, the girls were forcefully concerted to Islam and then, on June 28, Gill, got his son Muhammad Amjid married to Saba Younis after receiving Fatwa, a religious decree, from the Muslim religious leaders, to justify the whole exercise.
Just. Absolutely. Disgusting. But the problem is that this is actually just because some kind of perverted cleric says so in a fatwa. When did the girl give her consent? When do her family give theirs?

Radical Muslim cleric sues Geert Wilders over Fitna
Looks like he doesn’t like to be pointed as radical. The thing is he was actually investigated in connection with Theo van Gogh’s Murder.
Geert Wilders is surprised: Why he didn’t sue him before?

Netherlands: Dutch cartoonist faces prison for drawing up Islamic cartoons
“I never expected the Spanish Inquisition,” recalls the cartoonist, who goes by the nom de plume Gregorius Nekschot, quoting the British comedy team Monty Python. A fan of ribald gags, he’s a caustic foe of religion, particularly Islam. The Quran, crucifixion, sexual organs and goats are among his favorite motifs.
Mr. Nekschot, whose cartoons had appeared mainly on his own Web site, spent the night in a jail cell. Police grabbed his computer, a hard drive and sketch pads. He’s been summoned for further questioning later this month by prosecutors. He hasn’t been charged with a crime, but the prosecutor’s office says he’s been under investigation for three years on suspicion that he violated a Dutch law that forbids discrimination on the basis of race, religion or sexual orientation.
(…) “This is serious. It is about freedom of speech,” says Mark Rutte, the leader of a center-right opposition party. Some of Mr. Nekschot’s oeuvre is “really disgusting,” he says, “but that is free speech.”
(…) Mr. Nekschot, who calls the investigation “surreal,” says, “Not even Monty Python could have come up with this.” (His pen name, Gregorius Nekschot, is a mocking tribute to Gregory IX, a 13th-century pope who set up a Vatican department to hunt down and execute heretics. Nekschot means “shot in the neck” in Dutch.) Some Muslim groups have voiced dismay at his arrest as well. The head of an organization of Moroccan preachers in Holland said authorities seemed “more afraid” of offending Islam than Muslims.
Curiously, he never was menaced with legal punishment for drawing Crucifixes.
These extremists have always the same kind of effect: the cartoonist is known thanks to them. Who knew about Jyllands-Posten before the Danish cartoons?

A “moderate” Muslim
Our position must be clear, and it’s that the Quram and the Hadiths are absolute and true. Science and scientific facts are true, if and only if they are not in contradiction with the Quram and the Hadiths, and are false if they differ or go far away from the truth of the Quram and Hadiths.
