Pakistan: kidnapped, forcibly converted to Islam and married
And the marriage is valid because there is special fatwa on the case:
The Christian girls from Chak, a Muslim dominated village, came to Chowk Munda to see their reletives. Bajwa kidnapped the girls on gun point and told them to remain silent otherwise they would be killed. Then the girls were taken to an unidentified place. Later on the girls were sold to another Muslim man Falak Sher Gill (a criminal know for his notorious acts.)
On June 27, the girls were forcefully concerted to Islam and then, on June 28, Gill, got his son Muhammad Amjid married to Saba Younis after receiving Fatwa, a religious decree, from the Muslim religious leaders, to justify the whole exercise.
Just. Absolutely. Disgusting. But the problem is that this is actually just because some kind of perverted cleric says so in a fatwa. When did the girl give her consent? When do her family give theirs?
