UK peace preacher: “stand with terror suspects whatever they have done”
He even attacks moderate groups for handing over terror suspects to the police and urges his crowds to “stand with your brothers” whatever they have done.
“The Islamic identity is under heavy attack, where our own thoughts and our ideas are not in line with the Sharia,” Waleed told one crowd.

Wow, I’m sure if Government tried to deport him, he would just get terrified about the tortures in Islamic lands and would say his “Human Rights could be violated”. I am tired of these guys: why they don’t go to Islamic lands once and for all?
Gates asks allies to send troops to Afghanistan
Defense Secretary Robert Gates on Wednesday urged southeastern European leaders to shift their military efforts from Iraq to Afghanistan, where their forces are more urgently needed
Speaking at a meeting here of the Southeast European Defense Ministerial, Gates said that as the security situation in Iraq continues to improve, countries should considered filling the “urgent need” for trainers in Afghanistan.
“Your assistance will not only help Afghanistan better protect and care for its citizens, it will also reinforce your important role in insuring peace and stability around the globe,” Gates said during a press conference with the Macedonian minister of defense.

NKorea bans UN staff from nuke complex, prepares to launch more missiles
Some days ago I posted about IAEA denouncing (how many times before it has denounced it???) that NK had barred IAEA inspectors.
The diplomats say the North’s decision was made recently but declined to offer details. The diplomats demanded anonymity Thursday because their information was confidential.
The reported move expands the area that the International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors are no longer allowed to monitor.

And the consequence is that NKorea is planning to launch more missiles and has threatened war with Southern neighbour.
North Korea warned South Korea against sending naval ships into its waters, threatening warfare Thursday as it reportedly shifted an arsenal of missiles to a nearby island for more test launches and banned U.N. inspectors from its main nuclear complex.
The news comes as a Japanese news agency is reporting that the United States has told Japan that it will remove North Korea from its terrorist blacklist this month.
The North’s naval command accused the South of encroaching on its territory around the disputed sea border off Korea’s west coast and threatened to take unspecified “decisive action” unless Seoul stops infiltrating its waters.
Is this a new stupid thing by Kim or it’s a real menace?? Just wait and see, but they are not good news.
Mistaken for a Christian, Hindu girl burnt alive
A Catholic priest of Sambalpur diocese has claimed that a Hindu girl, mistaken for a Christian, was raped by a group of Hindu activists before being burnt alive.
Father T.V. Peter disclosed October 4 that a fanatical mob descended on a Church-run orphanage in Bargarh district where 20-year-old Rajani Majhi worked, raided the orphanage, gang-raped her and set her on fire, August 25, as anti-Christian violence broke out in the tribal-dominated areas of the eastern Indian State.
Peter, who is the procurator of the diocese, is also said to have expressed his willingness to testify in any court of law Majhi had been raped and killed by the VHP goons at the Padampur village orphanage. “Soon after the VHP men raided the orphanage, I went to the spot and spoke to some eye-witnesses. The mob thought she was a Christian girl but actually she was a Hindu and was adopted by a childless couple.

UN Faces Billions in Retiree Health Care Obligations
According to internal documents examined by FOX News, the U.N. has roughly $2.4 billion in unpaid retirement health insurance obligations for its staff alone, as of the end of 2007. When the sprawling U.N. system of programs and organizations around the world is thrown in, the total could be more than $4.9 billion, as tallied in a March 2007 report.
Not all parts of the U.N. universe are equally affected by the health insurance crisis. The $5 billion United Nations Development Program, for example, had a liability of roughly $466 million at the end of 2007, but has since funded more than half of it. At the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, the liability hit was $308 million, at a time when the agency’s global expenditures have been rapidly increasing.
The U.N.’s health insurance deficit is similar to problems that have threatened to crush private sector organizations. U.S. automakers, which granted gold-plated pension deals to their retiring employees years ago, are still struggling to fund those payments, even as American car sales have dwindled.
Hmm, so we are in a crisis… but looks like that UN is, in itself, THE crisis. What about using the money we put into huge international organizations with no financial control from citizens, into the financial market to make citizens richer and not just those bureaucrats?
