Priest uncovering beginnings of Final Solution

with 3 comments

a Catholic priest named Patrick Desbois (..) says he has interviewed more than 800 eyewitnesses and pinpointed hundreds of mass graves strewn around dusty fields in the former Soviet Union. The result is a book, “The Holocaust by Bullets,” and an exhibition through March 15 at New Yorks Museum of Jewish Heritage.

Brought to Ukraine by a twist of fate, Desbois has spent seven years trying to document the truth, honor the dead, relieve witnesses of their pain and guilt and prevent future acts of genocide.

Some 1.4 million of Soviet Ukraines 2.4 million Jews were executed, starved to death or died of disease during the war. Another 550,000-650,000 Soviet Jews were killed in Belarus and up to 140,000 in Russia, according to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Most of the victims were women, children and the elderly.

It’s about time to speak about USSR’s crimes, mainly those committed by the Gulag’s administration and, yes, those against Jewish people living there.

Pro-Chávez thugs attack students

with 2 comments

Some 25 students were expelled from Bolívar Square, downtown Caracas, by members of ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) who threw bottles and stones at them.

The students went to the main Caracas square to lay a wreath at the statue of Liberator Simón Bolívar, on the occasion of the anniversary of his death.

Who is attacking others, Mr Chávez?

Terrible.

Greek riots

Protesters clash with police during Athens rally – Yahoo! News

Riot police clashed with demonstrators outside Parliament Wednesday as a general strike paralyzed Greece, shutting down schools, hospitals and international flights and raising pressure on a fragile government reeling from four days of riots.

The lawyer for the two officers accused in the fatal shooting of a teenager that set off the unrest said ballistics show 15-year-old Alexandros Griogropoulos was killed by a ricochet and not a direct shot. Lawyer Alexis Cougias said the report corroborated the officers’ account that they fired warning shots and did not shoot directly at the boy.

One officer has been charged with murder and the other as an accomplice. They were to appear in court later in the day. Authorities have not made the ballistics report public.

And riots continue with no sign of abating.

Critics say that the government has lost control over the tactical
management of the crisis, with radical anarchists burning shops, cars,
banks and even government buildings, including the Hellenic Parliament Foundation
and the Foreign Ministry’s diplomatic academy. Some 320 stores, 50
banks and a number of civilian buildings have been damaged or destroyed
in Athens, with another 100 stores in the northern city of Thessaloniki targeted. There have also been outbreaks of violence in several small cities and on the island of Corfu.

In Athens’ Syntagma square, just across from Parliament,
protesters set ablaze the large Christmas tree. Today, more clashes
took place in the square and the surrounding streets as police used
tear gas to break up a large group of protestors throwing rocks at the Parliament building.
Later in the afternoon clashes resumed in downtown Athens with youth
groups barricaded in the Athens Polytechnic School, near the Exarchia
district, setting up roadblocks outside the School, burning cars and
bus stops.

Read also Politeia and Modern Conservative. From the first one:

Quite a few Greek radical groups have adopted Arabic noms de guerres;
they promote illegal immigration of Muslims into Europe, and call for
the destruction of Western civilization. They are part of an almost
global network that acts as a “soft power” element of the hard one, as
envisaged by Al Qaeda. It has to be stressed once more that rogue
elements of western security forces protect them. They have to be dealt
with as soon as possible.

Another proof of the alliance between radical left and Islamism.

A very slow suicide

with 2 comments

Words associated with Christianity, the monarchy and British history have been dropped from a leading dictionary for children.

Oxford University Press has removed words like “aisle”, “bishop”, “chapel”, “empire” and “monarch” from its Junior Dictionary and replaced them with words like “blog”, “broadband” and “celebrity”. Dozens of words related to the countryside have also been culled.

The publisher claims the changes have been made to reflect the fact that Britain is a modern, multicultural, multifaith society.

But academics and head teachers said that the changes to the 10,000 word Junior Dictionary could mean that children lose touch with Britain’s heritage.

via Mindful Hack: How NOT to build a multicultural society ….

Thanks to BCF.

This is indeed a terrible suicide…

The Guardian’s partiality

leave a comment »

More than 200 people have been killed in two days of clashes between Christians and Muslims in central Nigeria, the Red Cross said yesterday, during the worst unrest in the country for years. The army sent reinforcements to enforce a 24-hour curfew in the city of Jos, which lies at the flashpoint where Nigeria’s Muslim north and Christian south meet, after rival gangs set fire to churches and mosques.
‘I counted 218 dead bodies at Masalaci Jummaa [mosque]. There are many other bodies in the streets,’ said a Red Cross official, who asked not to be named. That death toll did not include hospital mortuaries, victims already buried, or those taken to other places of worship. The final count could be much higher, officials said.About 7,000 people had fled their homes and were sheltering in government buildings and religious centres, the Red Cross said.

Hundreds dead after Christian and Muslim gangs clash in Nigeria | World news | The Observer

If you read the rest of the link, they don’t even know how many Christians have been killed, while they know exactly the number of murdered Muslims. If you see, The Guardian publishes this, in which both Muslims and Christians have been fighting, but have not published anything about the Virgin Mary’s Church in Cairo. A very interesting choice of news, isn’t it?
