islamo-nazism: Egyptian female lawyer: Arab men should rape Israeli women as a means to fight Israel

with 3 comments

Woman: They (the Israelis) abuse the Arabs’ rights and steal their lands, and a land thief is no different than he who hurts one’s honor. I think it’s a new kind of struggle.

Man: Does the licence to hurt them also include rape?

Woman: No, sexual harassment… I want to say that they (Israeli women) have no right to react. That’s my opinion. That’s my claim. They (the Arabs) won’t be the initiators, because those who bare the struggle have a high moral standard.

  1. Unbelievably disgusting. Considering the sexual harassment women face in Egypt, you’d think she’d be careful lest she reaps what she is currently sowing.

  2. In that part of the world – the North-East bit of Africa – the attitudes towards rape are not the same as what we, in the West (and in Europe) have.

Rape is seen as ‘humbling’ a woman – just look at the Old Testament language describing rape. (The Old Testament originates from that same geographic area.)

If a man rapes a woman, ‘she is to be his wife, for he had HUMBLED HER’…

What we see as a violent attack, they see as simply ‘humbling’… being told her place.

I think we are coming up against one of those ‘attitude’ differences where we may use the same words, describe the same actions, but understand very different things by them. (Sort of like killing women and children is seen by some cultures as simply ‘property damage’, and nowhere near as serious or harmful as killing men or military targets.) Sad, but true.

  3. Sorry for the delay in answering your comments… ūüė¶

melo: what I can’t really consider is how a woman desires that another woman is raped. So much hate!!!

xanthippa: yes, what you say is true. But I just can’t help thinking how cruel human beings are, aren’t we? How many ways of harming another human being. Unbelievable, but real. As you say, sad but true…. ūüė•
